TRADERS PROTECTION

The primary purpose of Traders Advocacy Group Ghana (TAGG) is to help with the protection of its member’s interest. We are responsible to ensure the rights of traders are not infringed upon and the trading environments in our various market places are harmonious for all. We will ensure Rules and regulations set out for trading are beneficial and appropriate for its members and law abiding.We will help with the promotion of our local trading communities as well as its improvements.

GET CREDIT ACCESS

With the various accessibility channels to funds through government, financial institutions and foreign aid grants, traders will be assisted to help qualify for these financial benefits through the established relationships with these various agencies.

GRA/CUSTOMS RELATIONSHIP

We will ensure there is a harmonious and cordial relationship between the Revenue collection stream and traders by advising our members the various laws to adhere to. By ensuring training programs and workshops done.

TRADING ADVISORY & CONSULTANCY

Members will have priority to training programs through business forums, building of relevant business contacts or networks and have access to business referrals and trade queries.

GOVERNMENT NEGOTIATION

Being the voice for traders, better negotiations will be done amicably with government and its various agencies to ensure the better treatment and benefits for traders and trading communities in Ghana.

TRADE FAIR AND MISSIONS ABROAD

Traders Advocacy Group Ghana (TAGG) promotes and participates in trade fairs and missions in Ghana and abroad in line with its core functions. TAGG has been proactive and efficient in the organization of local, regional, and international trade fairs as well as trade investments that foster inter- and intra- trade relations.

Traders Advocacy Group Ghana (TAGG) has facilitated participation of its members as well as non-members in international trade fairs and missions. It does this by coordinating with the respective institutions and agencies to ensure that the interests of participants are reflected in the organization of the events. These opportunities have enabled business men and women to establish market links at the local, regional, and international levels.
